Skunk Manhattan is an Austin-based musician and producer primarily known as the frontman and guitarist for the eclectic heavy-rock band A GOOD ROGERING. AGR has three releases to date. Their latest EP, 'This is Death Metal,' was released September 2017 in line with an East Coast tour. The last two singles were an acoustic ballad ‘Out of Reach’ and a throwback funk anthem, ‘Mr. Peanut.'
Guitar & keys with the progressive metal band RUNESCARRED. The full-length debut album was released to much acclaim, in February 2020, following the 2018 ‘We Are’ EP and two 2019 singles. A new, very different EP is in the recording phase.
Piano and Keyboards with the eclectic and ever-evolving silent film accompaniment group INVINCIBLE CZARS. Usually a touring act performing to silent films at theaters and art houses across the U.S. and Canada, the Czars shifted focus in 2020 by launching a new and improved website along with a patreon page The band then began remotely recording new music including a full original score for the classic 1920 landmark film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and covers of of ZZ Top’s ‘La Grange’ and Vince Guaraldi’s ‘Christmas Time Is Here.’ A new tribute to Van Halen is in the works with a video release on Eddie’s birthday, January 26th. The next silent film recording is also in the works.
Guitar with latin rock & rollers BULL Y LOS BUFALOS. Two singles were released in 2019, and a live album was performed in Austin, TX, released in early 2020. This band performed with Gibson guitars at the NAMM show in January and has songs featured in the popular television show, The Mayans. The most recent single, a tribute to Elvis and Graceland, was released November 2020.
Guitar and Vocals for NO TIN GODZ. A hard and heavy melodic rock band slated to release a debut EP in 2021.
Among countless gigs in a variety of styles, including rock, metal, blues, funk, swing, country, and jazz, some highlights include opening for Skid Row, Marty Friedman, Uli Jon Roth, George Lynch, Metal Church, Greg Howe, Symphony X, Adler’s Appetite, Death Angel, and other renowned national acts. Skunk has written, performed on, and produced a variety of albums and singles. He is a veteran session musician, often working out of Mesa Recording Studios or his home in Austin, TX.

Skunk has endorsed Tregan Guitars since 2007 and often performs with his Custom “Skunk” Guitar, which has been featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player Magazine, and other national publications. NAMM performances include companies such as Tregan, Godin Guitars, and Gibson Guitars.
